The 89th Annual General Meeting of Lower Hutt City Association Football and Sports Club was held at the Clubrooms on 14th December 2009.

Phil Patterson (Central League), was appointed President, stepping into the big shoes of club stalwart Mike Rogers who stepped down from his dual role as President and Chairman of the Club.   Many thanks to Mike, and also to Tracy Elvy, Trevor Dempsey and Peter Royle who also stepped down from the Executive Committee.

We welcome Karen Mays, Kevin Nash and Ian Bradshaw onboard, as well as Rod Mays (Central League) who replaces Phil Patterson as Club Captain.

Phil Patterson was subsequently voted Chairman at the first Executive Meeting of the new year. 

Says Phil, "The first thing I must do as Chairman and President of LHCAFC is extend a HUGE THANK YOU to Mike Rogers.  A die-hard club man, Mike has done a fantastic job behind the scenes, always looking out for the club’s best interests with the powers that be at Capital Football, NFZ, Hutt City Council etc.  And in just the few weeks since I’ve stepped into his shoes, I have a much greater appreciation for the job he has done over the last few years.

Mike’s expertise and knowledge isn’t lost to us completely, thankfully!  He has kindly volunteered to take care of much of the general administration of the club – so that means he’ll still be the guy chasing up unpaid subs!
