Lower Hutt City AFC has for the past few seasons used MyComet for player registrations. In each of those preseasons we have had to deal with numerous queries and issues with MyComet (both for our members and administratively). Lower Hutt City AFC is excited to announce that we are implementing Friendly Manager as our registration platform to streamline the behind the scenes management of the club and make it easier for our members to interact with us.
One of the big improvements that club members, players and parents will notice is that the registration process for the 2022 season will be an absolute breeze; enabling you to easily manage your own information, your young footballer’s information, and register multiple players at the same time, all directly from the Lower Hutt City AFC website.
To register for the 2022 season, as this is our first season using Friendly Manager, all players (both new and returning) will need to click on the relevant link below to register yourself or a player under 18 years of age. Fill in the indicated fields and follow the prompts through the registration form to complete registration and submit payment (where applicable). After your registration is complete you will be sent an email from Friendly Manager with your login and password details.

Capital Football have made some key changes regarding season commencements for juniors and seniors for the 2022 season. The key change is that all junior and most youth competitions will now start in May (at the beginning of Term Two) and finish in mid-September. That means that the junior season will start on the weekend of 7th/8th May and finish on the weekend of 10th/11th September.
There also be no games in the middle weekend of the Term 2/3 school holidays (i.e. no games on 16/17 July).

The Junior Regulations state that it is compulsory for ALL players to wear shin guards regardless of the grade of football they play. These can be purchased from any sporting goods store.
Football boots for players attending First Kicks (U3-U6) are optional. As they play on an indoor astro turf sports shoes are fine (especially if they are just giving it a go until you know for sure).
Football boots are a must for U7's and above. Again these can be purchased from any sporting goods store.
Football boots that have metal sprigs or cleats are NOT PERMITTED on artificial football turfs.
Lower Hutt City AFC's club shorts and socks can now be purchased through our supplier Football Central either online or at the shop located: Unit 1/3 Raiha Street Elsdon, Porirua 5022. Club sweatshirt and jackets are also available, and for an additional cost can be personalised with your name.
