The Junior and Senior registrations for the 2024 now open!

 

Lower Hutt City AFC uses Friendly Manager as our registration platform to streamline the behind the scenes management of the club and make it easier for our members to interact with us.

Friendly Manager is an absolute breeze to use.  It makes it easy to register (information held from the previous is prepopulated).  You can login to your profile at anytime and update your information, and multiple members of the same family can register under one login **

How to register for the 2024 season:

 

Returning players (those registered with LHC in 2022/3)

You can login into your existing Friendly Manager account and register for 2024.  Please change /update any prepopulated details where necessary (based on the information you provided last season) that may have changed especially your email address and phone numbers as this will be how we contact you.

 

New Players (or returning player registered prior to 2022)

Click on the link below, to register yourself or a player under 18 years of age. Fill in the indicated fields and follow the prompts through the registration form to complete registration and submit payment (where applicable). Once your registration is complete you will be sent an email with your login and password details. 

Payment can be made using your credit card when registering in Friendly Manager, or by bank transfer or online once the invoice is received.

Please note:  

You can register multiple players using JUNIOR/YOUTH (under 18) players using the SAME login.  Click on "Add another player" at the bottom of the page adjacent to the parent/caregiver details. The parent who registers the junior/youth (under 18) member can also register as a player using the same login/password.

Any additional adult players will require a separate login/email.

Juniors and Youth - 2024

Capital Football have confirmed the start dates for junior and youth football for the 2024 season. 

  • Junior & Youth season will commence on Saturday 4th May 2024  and finish the weekend of 28th August 2024
  • Capital Development Youth Leagues will commence 27th April and finish 28th September

* A 10% discount applies to all Junior / Youth Club Administration fees if paid in full prior to 30th May 2024.

 *** Girls may also opt to play both Saturday (mixed league) and Sunday (Girls Only) in which case only one Club Admin Fee will be applied.

Girls can play in the age group below their chronological age in mixed football competitions, i.e U14 girls may play in an U13.  U13 girls require a dispensation to play in an U12 Girls competition, but can play U12 mixed.  If your daughter wishes to play down a grade, please make a note on the registration form in the space provided

 

Girls Only Sunday leagues

Last season we entered in Captial Football Girls only competition held on Sundays in the following grades: U12 and U18.

This season (if there is enough interest) we will offer the following options: U12, U14, U16 and U18

Senior Men, Senior Women & Masters - 2024

(Competitive and Social Leagues)

 

Lower Hutt City boasts strong senior men's teams across Capital Premier, Capital 2, Wellington Leagues, Masters and U17's making it the perfect platform for footballers of all skills levels.

Key Dates 

Captial Football have confirmed the start dates for senior football for the 2024 season.

  • 30th March  - Women's Kelly Cup starts, First round of Men's Central League, Capital Premier League and Capital 1
  • 6th April      - First round of Men's Capital 2-4, Wellington Local Leagues, Master's Leagues & Women's Leagues 

 

Registering for senior football:

Registrations are now open via Friendly Manager.  Follow the details above "How to register for the 2024 season.

  • Men's players (competitive and social) - players must be a minimum of 16 yrs of age on the day of the game.
  • Women's players - players must be a minimum of 15 yrs of age on the day of the game.

What do your Club Administration fees cover?

Administration fees vital and are collected by the club to help with the total costs of running our football club.  These are are a combination of (but not limited to the following:

  • Club equipment - balls, bibs, cones, corner flags, nets, shirts 
  • Affiliation fees to Captial Football, New Zealand Football
  • Capital Football Health and Safety
  • Coach / referees courses, development support
  • Turf training - Artificial & grass, ground hire
  • Junior & Senior Prize-giving - certificates, medals & trophies
  • Other costs related to running the club - office and storage facilities etc.

What gear do I need to play?

The Junior Regulations state that it is compulsory for ALL players to wear shin guards regardless of the grade of football they play. These can be purchased from any sporting goods store.

Football boots for players attending First Kicks (U3-U6) are optional. As they play on an indoor astro turf sports shoes are fine (especially if they are just giving it a go until you know for sure). 

Football boots are a must for U7's and above. Again these can be purchased from any sporting goods store.

Football boots that have metal sprigs or cleats are NOT PERMITTED on artificial football turfs.
