Dawn England U19 Women's Tournament

Dawn, like her husband Ivan, was a life member of Lower Hutt City AFC.  She was a huge support for Ivan in the various roles he held within the club.  Dawn spent many hours over the years creating books and records of all the significant events in the club history, this included newspaper cuttings and club photos.  These were on display at our club centenary celebrations in 2021.

Dawn was always a huge supporter of the football club, especially of the women's games.  She attended most home games and could be seen on the sideline wearing her lucky gumboots.  She is remembered fondly as a valued member of our club, and the U19 women's tournament is named in her honour.

Lower Hutt City AFC is pleased to announce that we are again holding the annual Dawn England U19 Women's Tournament at our home ground - Fraser Park and entries are now open!
