Mari & Mike Rogers have been involved with football in the community (and in particular women's and girls) for more than 50 years, having played and held various roles during this time at Lower Hutt City AFC.
Both Mari and Mike are Life Members of Lower Hutt City AFC, and it is only fitting that the annual girls tournament is named in their honour. Each year they love to attend the tournament to see the next generation of players enjoying the game they love.
This year we are offering U9, U11, U13 and U15 divisions in line with the NZF Whole of Football 2.0
The emphasis of this tournament is FUN (having a break from serious competition), participation and player development. We aim to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where players can make new friends, gain tournament experiences and enjoy playing football.
All games will be held on the artificial turf and surrounding grass fields at Fraser Park

Each team (U11 - U15) will play a minimum of 4 round robin games, then playoffs for placings. Where ever possible match officials will be allocated, but each team should ensure they have a nominated person who can be called on to ref their one half of the game if need be.
** U9's will play on Sunday, all other leagues will be played both Saturday and Sunday

This year entries will be via the Friendly Manager platform – you will use this platform to submit your team / staff lists, view your draws and results.
Due to significant cost increases across the board but in particular ground hire, we’ve had to adjust the entry fee this year.
